Over 90 executed in Syria in one month: Report

Takfiri Daesh militants have executed more than 90 people, including many civilians, in a time-span of one month in Syria, a report says.
On Sunday, the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the terrorist group had executed 91 people between July 29 and August 29.
The group said that those executed in those areas of Syria that the Takfiris currently control included 32 civilians, Syrian opposition members and Syrian government forces as well as an unknown number of militants from the group itself.
The militants have been executing people fighting Daesh and those accused of other “crimes” in Central Hama, Homs Province, the eastern Deir Ezzor and Hasakah, and the northern Raqa and Aleppo, since the group took over the areas in June 2014.
According to figures provided by the Observatory, a total of 3,156 people, including nearly 2,000 civilians, have been executed by Daesh in Syria since last year.
The Takfiri militants, who are also operating in Iraq, Libya, and Afghanistan, have carried out such atrocities as beheadings and crucifixions against all ethnic minorities and religious communities. The terrorists have also released gruesome videos showing the executions since last year.
Syria has been plagued by a foreign-backed conflict, which has killed more than 240,000 people, since March 2011.
According to the United Nations, the violence in Syria has left more than 7.2 million people internally displaced and forced more than four million others to take refuge in neighboring countries such as Lebanon and Jordan.
Reports indicate that the militants have been sponsored and armed by US-led Western countries and their regional allies, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, neighboring Turkey, and Jordan as well as the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.
